HELLA Hengst Filtration Wins GROUPAUTO Approval

Quality, range and availability are key for GROUPAUTO members

Chipping Warden, August 2017. Following the successful introduction of the HELLA Hengst brand earlier this year and its subsequent increasing share of the UK filtration market, HELLA has won approval for the brand with GROUPAUTO, one of the country’s most influential buying groups, as well as the UAN, the group’s sister organisation.

The hard-earned ‘approved supplier’ status includes the complete HELLA Hengst range, which is a 1,600 plus, original equipment (OE) quality programme offering comprehensive coverage of both the passenger car and the, increasingly important, light commercial vehicle sectors.

The combination of OE quality products, depth of range and excellent stock availability, all supported by the company’s central distribution centre situated close to the M40 in Oxfordshire, makes HELLA Hengst a compelling filter proposition for members.

As further evidence of the brand’s commitment to ensuring it provides the best possible coverage, HELLA has announced that it has added another 16 HELLA Hengst new-to-range (NTR) part numbers.

The additions major on the fuel and air ranges with six in each category, as well as three cabin filters, two of which are carbon activated, reflecting the move toward these high performance elements among vehicle manufacturers.  There is also a new oil filter.

VAG brands feature prominently within these NTR additions with the Audi A3 (8V_) 1.6 TDI, 2.0 TDI, Seat Leon (5F_) 1.6 TDI, 2.0 TDI, Skoda Octavia (5E_) 1.6 TDI, Skoda Octavia (5E_) 2.0 TDI, VW Golf VII 1.6 TDI, 2.0 TDI and Passat VIII 2.0 TDI. Other marques include the Citroën C4, Peugeot 308 THP 1.2, Ford Mondeo, Galaxy and S Max V 1.5 EcoBoost and 2.0 TDCI, as well as the Vauxhall Corsa E 1.4 and Renault Clio 1V 1.5 DCI.

Filters play an important role in any vehicle’s performance as they prevent harmful pollutants – such as debris and dirt – from entering the engine, radiator, fuel lines and other key components.  Once a filter is no longer efficient, the performance of the car will be affected with the possibility of the engine being damaged, which is why filters are among the most important fast moving aftermarket components.

These NTR additions further illustrate HELLA’s commitment to develop and grow the HELLA Hengst brand and that the combination of original equipment quality, excellent availability, depth of range and outstanding customer service, is proving to be a winning formula.
